ABOUT US

At SFC Missions Ltd, we are a committed and diversified family-oriented organization. The founder is Norfolk native Edward Brown, an Army Desert Storm Vet, a Reverend with a Seminary BA, master's in education curriculum structured around special education, who supports and educates autistic alongside emotional behavior students. Improving the lives of intellectually challenged individuals has been a strong desire since volunteering his time for a family who requested assistance with their autistic child. His mindset was and continues to work towards establishing an after school vocational training program, as a means towards economic stability, for autistic teens. 

Betty Brown is VP of operations. She is the right and left hand of Edward Brown with over 15 years of medical knowledge as surgical assistant and 15 years as a caregiver. Mrs. Brown is originally from Michigan, loves to read, is an artist, a mother of 4, grandmother, and great grandmother, and loves promoting education.

Jasahn Brown is the Director. Ms. Brown is a Norfolk native, you see the resemblance with our smiles. Ms. Brown has a criminal justice degree. She served 8 years as a Va. Beach deputy, 10 years as a
substance abuse supervisor, presently works for the city of Chesapeake Community Service Board. Ms. Brown a son, enjoys sports and travel. 

Jeron Brown is a Norfolk native and son of Ms. Brown. Mr. Brown is a Lakeland graduate, attended Christopher Newport Community College, and currently serving in the Airforce. He is no stranger to experiencing the importance of after school instruction that prepares you for the next level. Mr. Brown is a former recreational basketball MVP, loves sports, and assisting others. 

Our other worker bees, Babrbara Barnes and William Barnes, military vets and parents of Edward and Jasahn Brown, Mrs. Janalea Jewell, RBT certified, Kentucky native, Kentucky Univ graduate, works for an alternative school, responsible for ad graphics, loves her husband, their dog, farm animals, and football, Cyndi Bateman RBT certified, mother of two adults, works for an alternative school, supervised lawncare 15 years, loves cats, travel, and gardening, provided us with the program name " reach for your dreams."                      

As a new organization, we were able to donate $500 from our personal funds to Autism Society of Tidewater while hosting the event in Ocean View Norfolk, VA in 2022. This year of 2023, we're
